Our Board-Certified Dermatologists are dedicated to providing and promoting accurate and compassionate Dermatology care and cutting-edge treatments for our patients. In caring for your skin and your well-being, our specialized team of skin-care professionals offer broad and effective services for the evaluation and treatment of rashes to skin cancer.

Dr. Bernard Gasch

Dr. Bernard Gasch wants to welcome patients to his practice at Center for Dermatology and Laser Surgery. Board Certified in Dermatology in 2003, after completing a residency in both Dermatology as well as Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital, Dr. Gasch strives to properly identify and comprehensively treat each skin condition using an individualized modern patient-centered approach.

Having trained in multiple different parts of the country with various national experts in the Dermatological sub-specialties, Dr. Gasch is experienced in accurately diagnosing and properly treating many skin conditions in a variety of skin types and ethnicities. Having a background in both Internal Medicine as well as Dermatology, Dr. Gasch has extensive experience in identifying skin issues which may be related to a patient’s underlying medical condition. Dr. Gasch’s training has also emphasized the diagnosis and treatment of numerous pediatric skin conditions.

Dr. Gasch enjoys educating patients and proposing various dermatological treatment options, working with each patient to decide upon a customized approach. He often utilizes new technologies, including lasers and photodynamic therapy, as well as other medical, surgical, and cosmetic procedures to arrive at the desired result for his patients. Dr. Gasch also stays abreast of cutting-edge therapies by actively participating in various clinical research studies, as well as being a member of several national and local dermatological organizations.

Dr. Gasch’s personal interests include playing league tennis, hiking, traveling, SCUBA diving, and exercising with his dog, Heidi, a mischievous Vizsla.

Dr. Beata Rydzik

High-quality care and personal attention exemplify the essence of Dr. Rydzik's innovative practice. Her dedication and passion for dermatology are reflected in her commitment to each individual and the treatment she provides. Her friendly smile reveals her warm personality when greeting a patient in one of our comfortable clinic rooms.

Beata L. Rydzik M.D. graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School where she received the William B. Taylor Award for Excellence in Dermatology. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Dermatology at the University of Michigan, where she received extensive training from world-recognized authorities in medical dermatology, clinical research, cutaneous oncology, surgical dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology with the latest advances in laser techniques. Dr. Rydzik provides her patients with treatment modalities that are both state-of-the-art and clinically proven. By attending advanced medical seminars and training sessions, Dr. Rydzik continues to expand the services of her practice and enhance her expert applications in medical and cosmetic dermatology.

During her time away from the clinic, Dr. Rydzik enjoys outdoor activities such as fly fishing, skiing, biking and hiking with her chocolate lab, Bijou. She recently volunteered for a medical mission in the Andean mountains of Peru, performing free medical care for remote villages.

Holly Chandler, PA-C

Prior to Holly Chandler joining the Center for Dermatology and Laser Surgery in 2011, she worked as a dermatology Physician Assistant for three years in Massachusetts. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Animal Biology from Louisiana Tech University and in Physician Assistant Studies from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. Holly has acquired extensive dermatology experience through her work in private dermatology practices and at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Holly's goal is to ensure that her patients leave her office feeling relaxed, educated, and reassured about their particular skin condition. The latest technology and up-to-date knowledge in the field of dermatology allow providers to produce a cure or maintenance regimen for almost any skin disease or condition. Holly is confident that by working together with her patients she can find a treatment plan that is tailored for each individual client.

She strongly advocates screening for and recognizing skin cancers at the earliest possible stage, in order to provide the greatest prognostic potential for her patients. Improving a patient's quality of life by treating a stubborn skin condition is a great reward and constant motivation for Holly to continue her medical education through dermatology conferences and training sessions.

Holly is a member of the Oregon Dermatology Society, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Association of Physician Assistants, and the Oregon Society of Dermatology Associates.

In her free time, Holly enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and dog, Cooper. She also likes cooking, gardening, and traveling whenever she has the opportunity.

Patricia Gravenites

Patricia Gravenites is a cosmetic provider at the Center for Dermatology and Laser Surgery. Her decision to focus on a cosmetic dermatology career was influenced by having a severe case of melasma, a skin discoloration. Through her personal experience dealing with melasma, Patricia was inspired to help others with skin issues.

She is passionate about studying botanicals and cosmetic treatments, and has over 20 years of skin care education. Patricia specializes in providing high quality cosmetic treatments with a wide range of advanced lasers, fillers, Botox, and chemical peels. She provides ongoing education for her patients, recommending regimens to keep their skin healthy and happy. Her strength is the ability to treat all levels of skin color safely and effectively with these cosmetic services.

Patricia has a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication from Portland State University. She is a National Certified Medical Assistant and a Certified Aesthetician. She has extensive training in cosmetic services.

Her personal interests include hiking in nature with her Labradoodle Levi, music, reading, art of cooking, and laughing with her “Ya Ya” Greek friends of many years.

Teresa Robinson

Teresa Robinson began her career in cosmetic dermatology in Eugene, Oregon and has 27 years of skin care experience. She joined the Center for Dermatology and Laser Surgery in 2007 working with Dr. Bernard Gasch.

She is continually learning, taking advanced training courses in laser treatments and injectables to stay current on the latest skin care treatments. Teresa specializes in Botox, chemical peels, filler light treatments, and laser treatments for skin rejuvenation and hair removal. She is passionate about helping people achieve healthy skin, especially providing treatment for acne and acne scarring.

Teresa is a National Certified Medical Assistant and a Certified Aesthetician. She has extensive training in cosmetic services.

She believes in balancing both personal and work life. When she is not working, Teresa enjoys spending time with family and friends. She likes staying active by bicycling around the various scenic spots in Portland or squeezing in a round of golf. Teresa is also an avid reader and likes cuddling up with a good book.
